ESTHETICIAN SCHOOL PROGRAM
At Academy of Hair Technology, our Esthetics program is a 600-hour program that gives state of the art training in all phases of make-up, basic & advanced skin care and facials, extensive training in body wraps, extractions, and micro-dermabrasion.
Our esthetician school training is conducted in the new wing of the academy which is dedicated to skin and nail services. We have separate esthetics rooms that offer a spa-like atmosphere equipped with a bed, a sink, a towel warmer and a large steamer. A private shower is available in the larger room where body treatments are performed.
NAIL TECH SCHOOL PROGRAM
Academy of Hair Technology offers a 300-hour full nail training program for all phases of nails. This program teaches students skills and techniques about manicuring, pedicures, advanced nails, nail art and nail maintenance. We offer advanced nail techniques such as sculptured nails, tip applications, acrylic nails, gel nails, fiberglass, nylon and silk overlays. Free hand and air brush nail art techniques are covered in depth.
Our nail technician program is offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 until 10:00 pm.
Students in this program have consistently won awards in nail application and nail art at the state and regional levels.
