How Sweet It Is
Students who have an interest in competing and are willing to make a commitment to do the extra training necessary are encouraged to compete at every level. This encouragement includes, but is not limited to, special competition training classes and payment of the competition fees.
The Academy has proven itself a force to be reckoned with at the National and International levels of competition. Over the last few years, students representing the Academy have won more first five positions in the contests they competed in than any other school in the country at the prestigious Premier International Trade Exposition in Orlando, Florida, and the Mid-West Beauty Show in Chicago, Illinois. Representatives from the Academy of comprised half of the entire TEAM USA’ Ladies Fashion Team at the last two HAIR WORLD events. HAIR WORLD is held every two years, four years ago (2004) in Milan, Italy, two years ago (2006) in Moscow, Russia and Chicago, Illinois (2008).
